Tourism Distribution Coordinator

About the role

Ferry's Tale of Pig Island is looking for an experienced Tourism Distribution Coordinator to expand its network across The Bahamas. You will build and nurture relationships with hotels, resorts, gift shops, airport retailers, attractions, tour operators, and cruise‑related businesses, ensuring our products are visible and well‑stocked.

Key responsibilities

• Visit existing reseller locations regularly to monitor inventory and coordinate replenishment.
• Improve merchandising, signage, and product visibility at partner sites.
• Train front‑desk, concierge, and retail staff on product knowledge and sales techniques.
• Secure meetings with new distribution partners and pursue opportunities in hotels, airports, cruise terminals, attractions, tours, and retail outlets.
• Identify large‑volume wholesale opportunities and maintain accurate CRM records using Google Sheets.
• Provide weekly reports and photographic documentation of store visits.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in hospitality, tourism, retail, business development, or hotel operations.
• Established network within the Bahamian tourism and hospitality sector.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s licence.
• Smartphone for reporting and photos; ability to lift and transport up to 40 lb.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets.

What we offer

• Initial 60‑day contract with potential extension.
• Monthly contract fee, commission, or hybrid compensation structure based on experience.
