Director of Luxury Sales & Events

About the role

The Director of Luxury Sales & Events is a senior commercial leader responsible for generating high‑value revenue streams across Baha Mar’s resort portfolio. Reporting to the Executive Director of Sales & Marketing, the role combines strategic partnership development, luxury event execution, and sales leadership to enhance the guest experience and drive profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Drive luxury social sales, VIP group business, weddings, and strategic events across SLS Baha Mar, Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, and Rosewood Baha Mar.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships, podcast collaborations, and sponsorship opportunities.
• Lead the Senior Manager, Social Affairs & Luxury Weddings, providing mentorship, commercial strategy, and portfolio oversight.
• Oversee The Studio podcast studio, creating broadcast events and partnership content.
• Design and execute high‑value sales initiatives, contracting, and special projects.
• Represent Baha Mar with senior executives, luxury clients, international planners, and industry partners.

Required profile

• Polished professional comfortable with luxury and high‑net‑worth clientele.
• Confident salesperson and negotiator with strong contract and financial acumen.
• Proven experience in luxury social events, weddings, group sales, hospitality, tourism, or related fields.
• Strategic thinker who is also hands‑on, entrepreneurial, proactive, and solutions‑oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple high‑priority projects simultaneously.
• Strong people leader capable of developing and empowering high‑performing teams.
