Trailer Head Driver

About the role

The Trailer Head Driver is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Nassau, responsible for safely operating trailer head trucks to move freight between terminals, ports, warehouses and customer sites. The role supports the company’s commitment to punctual, reliable logistics and requires close coordination with dispatch, port staff and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
• Load, secure and unload cargo, ensuring proper documentation for each delivery and pickup.
• Drive trailer head trucks in accordance with traffic laws, company policies and scheduled routes.
• Communicate route details, delivery times and any issues to dispatch and customers.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and uphold safety standards at all times.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license (or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
• Strong truck‑driving capabilities and knowledge of basic vehicle checks.
• Effective communication and customer‑service skills.
• Reliability, punctuality and attention to detail in handling documentation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
