Warehouse Receiver

About the role

The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for inspecting, documenting, and processing all incoming shipments to ensure materials arrive in good condition and meet quality standards. This full‑time, onsite position supports the smooth flow of inventory throughout the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and correctly place incoming inventory items.
• Verify packing slips against purchase orders and complete required paperwork.
• Organise stock, conduct cycle counts and assist in resolving inventory discrepancies.
• Label, palletise, and store merchandise according to size, shape and type.
• Operate material‑handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, turret lifts and scissor lifts.
• Transport raw materials to the production floor and build pallets for outbound shipments.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow PPE guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with the Warehouse Manager and Lead, and adapt to schedule changes as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to follow safety procedures and operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail for inspection and documentation.
• Flexibility to work varied hours and handle occasional roadblocks.
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.

• Forklift operation
• Pallet jack, turret lift, platform dolly and scissor lift use
• Industrial ladder and scale operation
• Pallet wrapper and impulse sealer handling
• Box taping machine and cutting knife use
• Label printer and computer operation
• Walkie‑talkie communication
• Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
