Warehouse Receiver – Receiving & Inventory Management

About the role

The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for inspecting, documenting, and processing all incoming shipments. You will ensure that materials arrive in good condition, meet quality standards, and are accurately recorded in the warehouse system.

Key responsibilities

• Unload deliveries, verify packing slips against purchase orders, and label items.
• Organise stock, perform cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Handle fragile merchandise with care and build pallets for storage or shipment.
• Operate forklifts and other stock‑management tools safely.
• Transport raw materials to the production floor and assist with loading docks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Required profile

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Physical capability to lift and move items up to 50 lb.
• Willingness to adapt to schedule changes as needed.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (valid certificate preferred).
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Impress.
