Cashier Stocker – Casual

About the role

Amentum is looking for a reliable Cashier Stocker on Andros Island, Bahamas, to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) retail operations. This casual position involves handling sales transactions, maintaining product displays, and ensuring inventory accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system and process grocery transactions.
• Replenish shelves, update pricing, and maintain planograms.
• Conduct stocktakes, inventory counts, and report discrepancies.
• Keep product areas clean and assist with store resets.
• Collaborate with material coordinators to ensure consistent product availability.
• Safeguard cash and inventory, and support store security procedures.
• Identify and report safety hazards to maintain a safe environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with a professional demeanor.
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and goal‑oriented.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures accurately.
• Good mathematical skills for cash handling and drawer reconciliation.
• Trustworthy to open and close the store.
• Availability to work a non‑traditional 40‑hour week, including weekends and holidays.
