Client Associate – Part‑time Contract (1 Year)

About the role

As a Client Associate you will be the first point of contact for customers visiting the branch, delivering RBC’s client experience and supporting day‑to‑day transactions. This part‑time, one‑year contract role combines front‑line service with cash‑custody responsibilities, helping clients navigate digital banking while ensuring smooth cash operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and engage clients on entry, assess their needs and promote RBC’s multi‑channel and digital solutions.
• Assist with everyday banking tasks such as new account opening, term deposits, credit cards and transaction processing.
• Provide advice on digital banking tools and refer clients to Sales Professionals or schedule appointments.
• Handle cash‑custody duties, including cash ordering, redemption, end‑of‑day balancing and loss prevention.
• Manage client concerns using “Make it Right” principles and log complaints in the appropriate system.
• Maintain compliance with RBC policies, procedures and fraud‑prevention guidelines.

Required profile

• Five minimum passes (Grades I‑III or A‑C) with compulsory Math and English.
• Proven customer‑service experience in a target‑driven environment.
• Strong leadership, multitasking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent listening skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Interest in mobile and digital devices and ability to guide clients through self‑serve applications.
