Electrician – Half Moon Cay (Bahamas)

About the role

The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across residential, commercial, and industrial facilities at Half Moon Cay, a Carnival Corporation destination. The role ensures safe, reliable power for guest areas, employee zones, and public spaces while complying with all applicable codes and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure conduits, circuit breakers, panels, and wiring networks according to blueprints and site plans.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on transformers, breakers, and related equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults using testing devices and execute timely repairs or replacements.
• Support heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning systems as needed.
• Assist the Site Engineer with additional projects and technical tasks.

Required profile

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Strong attention to safety procedures and electrical regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and electrical codes.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving capabilities.
