Houseman – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Houseman supports the housekeeping team at The Ocean Club, a Four Seasons Resort in the Bahamas. Working in a luxury environment, the Houseman ensures guest rooms, corridors and service areas are maintained to the resort’s high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Clean baseboards, floors and surfaces in guest rooms and public areas.
• Pull furniture and vacuum behind it to remove dust and debris.
• Remove soiled shower curtains, launder them and hang them after cleaning.
• Assist with linen handling, including collection, sorting and delivery to the linen room.
• Maintain cleanliness of hallways, stairways and service corridors.
• Report any maintenance issues or inventory shortages to the housekeeping supervisor.

Required profile

• Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift moderate loads.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow established cleaning standards.
• Team‑oriented attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
• Reliability and punctuality for shift work in a resort setting.
