Lifeguard – Celebration Key (Bahamas)

About the role

The Lifeguard ensures the safety of guests in and around the designated aquatic areas at Celebration Key, Half Moon Cay. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will monitor swimmers, enforce safety rules, and respond quickly to any emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in swim areas and enforce water‑safety regulations.
• Perform rescues, administer First Aid, CPR, artificial respiration, and other emergency care as needed.
• Inspect beach and pool equipment, facilities, and water quality; support cleaning and routine maintenance.
• Set up and return lifeguarding equipment daily and uphold environmental and housekeeping standards.
• Attend meetings, training sessions, and in‑house service drills to keep rescue skills current.
• Report incidents, injuries, hazards, and unsafe behaviors to the Lifeguard Supervisor.

Required profile

• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and work outdoors.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Ability to follow company dress standards and maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
