Operations Manager – Half Moon Cay (Bahamas)

About the role

The Operations Manager supports the senior Operations Team and General Manager in overseeing daily operations at Half Moon Cay, ensuring seamless guest experiences and efficient facility management. This role drives continuous improvement and maintains high standards of service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with daily operations, coordinating ship calls, vendors, and local officials.
• Resolve issues involving guests, vendors, and employees.
• Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and environmental standards.
• Manage supply orders, distribution, and the Operations Department’s fiscal planning.
• Lead employee scheduling, rotations, and project assignments.
• Conduct monthly department meetings and bi‑annual performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with HR on staffing needs and employment matters.
• Review and update operational documents (e.g., MR‑650) and produce monthly reports.
• Analyze operational costs and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business, Leadership or related field (Master’s a plus).
• Minimum 3 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in an outdoor, resort environment.
