Road Tanker Wagon (RTW) Driver

About the role

The Road Tanker Wagon (RTW) Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transport of fuels to various sites in Nassau. You will operate company vehicles, ensure compliance with safety standards, and deliver a professional service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑shift vehicle inspections and report any defects.
• Load, transport, and off‑load fuel while adhering to all safety and HSSE requirements.
• Complete daily trip logs, Safe Discharge Certificates (SDC) and any required delivery condition reports.
• Collect and reconcile cheques at delivery sites and return documentation to the depot.
• Practice defensive driving techniques to achieve zero accidents.
• Participate in safety trainings, incident investigations, drills and audits.
• Respond to fire or spill emergencies on the RTW.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary education with basic literacy and numeracy.
• 3‑5 years incident‑free driving experience with tractor‑trailers or heavy goods vehicles.
• Valid commercial driver’s licence appropriate for heavy fuel transport.

• Vehicle inspection and maintenance reporting.
• Fuel handling and safe discharge procedures.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety documentation.
