Road Tanker Wagon (RTW) Driver

About the role

The Road Tanker Wagon (RTW) Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient loading, transport, and off‑loading of fuels to various sites in Nassau. The driver will operate company vehicles, ensure compliance with safety standards, and deliver a professional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑shift vehicle inspections and report any defects.
• Load fuel safely, ensuring the vehicle is bonded, compartments are empty, and correct fuel type/quantity is used.
• Complete daily trip logs, Safe Discharge Certificates, and any required delivery condition reports.
• Collect and verify cheques at delivery sites, then return documents to the depot.
• Practice defensive driving to achieve zero accidents caused by the driver.
• Respond to fire or spill emergencies on the RTW and participate in safety drills.
• Attend training, safety meetings, and incident investigations as required.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary education with basic literacy and numeracy.
• 3–5 years incident‑free experience driving tractor‑trailers and heavy goods vehicles.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow HSSE procedures.
• Ability to work independently and handle cash/cheque transactions accurately.
