Security Officer – Patrol & Protection

About the role

The Security Officer – Patrol & Protection ensures the safety of guests, staff and assets at Carnival’s Celebration Key destination. You will monitor entry points, conduct regular patrols, and respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to security incidents, accidents, emergencies and disturbances, taking immediate control and escalating when needed.
• Monitor and control access for employees, visitors and contractors, verifying identification and conducting screenings, baggage checks and vehicle inspections.
• Perform regular patrols of assigned areas, detect and report suspicious activity, safety hazards and potential risks.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs, incident reports and communicate security protocols to guests, staff and management.
• Participate in security drills, training exercises and continuous learning to improve readiness.
• Support general maintenance by identifying safety‑related issues and adhere to corporate policies and procedures.

Required profile

• High level of vigilance and ability to act quickly in emergency situations.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with guests, staff and management.
• Ability to work independently while supporting team operations.
