Senior Consultant – Turnaround & Restructuring

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead and execute turnaround and restructuring engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients in the Bahamas. You will provide strategic guidance, develop operational plans, and mentor junior team members while contributing to Deloitte’s culture of continuous learning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, plan and execute engagements in corporate restructuring, insolvency, liquidations, bankruptcy, operational turnaround plans, forensic accounting, M&A transactions and valuations.
• Leverage tools and technologies to help clients navigate uncertainty and complex business environments.
• Develop and mentor junior team members to ensure service excellence.
• Participate in well‑being, sustainability initiatives and community events aligned with Deloitte’s Shared Values.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent qualification (e.g., ACCA).
• Qualified or near‑qualified professional designation such as ACCA, CA, ACA, CPA, CFA, JD, LLM or LLB.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in consulting, financial advisory, audit or related advisory work within a professional services firm or large organization.

Required skills

• Experience with corporate restructuring, insolvency, and turnaround projects.
• Knowledge of forensic accounting, valuations and M&A advisory.
