Senior Financial Analyst (8‑month contract)

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst will support the Finance Department and Managing Director’s Office in the Bahamas, ensuring financial reporting, project delivery and compliance with regulations over an 8‑month period.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate finance‑related projects, managing scope, budget, milestones and stakeholder communication.
• Oversee month‑end close, prepare financial and board reports, perform variance analysis and support external audits.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and management reporting, monitoring performance, profitability and regulatory impacts.
• Coordinate tax returns, provisions and audits while managing material tax risks.
• Monitor accounting policy changes, ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance and advise on complex accounting matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and a recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CGA).
• At least five years of finance experience with proven project leadership.
• Strong analytical abilities, stakeholder influence and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• PMP, PMI‑ACP or equivalent Agile certification.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira and Confluence.
• Advanced Excel skills.
