Senior Manager, People & Culture

About the role

The Senior Manager, People & Culture will head the human resources function for Coral Sands Inn & Cottages, a boutique luxury resort on Harbour Island’s Pink Sands Beach. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for all aspects of talent acquisition, employee relations, learning and development, and compliance with Bahamian employment regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle recruitment, onboarding and employee engagement initiatives.
• Manage employee relations matters, conduct investigations and handle performance issues.
• Design, deliver and track training programs, maintaining accurate training records.
• Oversee HRIS and time‑keeping data, maintain employee files and monitor leave balances, work permits and documentation.
• Support payroll inputs, workforce planning and produce monthly HR reports on headcount, turnover, absenteeism and training.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of HR/People & Culture leadership experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Bahamian employment laws and work‑permit requirements.
• Excellent communication, organizational and confidentiality skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS and time‑keeping systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
