Shore Excursion Supervisor – Horse Stables (Half Moon Cay)

About the role

The Shore Excursion Supervisor oversees the safe, efficient and humane operation of the horseback riding program on Half Moon Cay. You will manage horse welfare, guide the stable team, and ensure guests enjoy a memorable riding experience while adhering to safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the health, safety and welfare of all horses, maintain treatment records and coordinate veterinary services.
• Keep stable facilities, equipment and riding areas clean, well‑maintained and safe for both animals and staff.
• Welcome guests, conduct safety briefings, match riders with appropriate horses and supervise excursions from departure to return.
• Enforce safety procedures, perform equipment inspections, manage emergency response training and suspend rides when weather or trail conditions are unsafe.
• Schedule daily excursions, verify waivers and rider eligibility, and maintain accurate operational and rider records.
• Lead and develop the stable team, including animal caretakers, tour guides and horse handlers; conduct briefings, training and performance management.
• Promote environmental stewardship by protecting riding trails and surrounding habitats.

Required profile

• Proven experience in horse care, stable management or related equine operations.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols for horseback riding excursions.
• Ability to supervise and train a diverse team in a hospitality setting.
• Excellent communication skills and a guest‑focused attitude.
• Flexibility to work on a remote island environment and adapt to cruise ship schedules.
