Transportation Supervisor – Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

About the role

The Transportation Supervisor oversees all guest and client transport operations at Half Moon Cay, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality shuttle services, private transfers, and special transport requests. This position coordinates daily schedules, manages a team of drivers and coordinators, and works closely with other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate shuttle services, private transfers, and other guest transport options.
• Lead a team of drivers and coordinators, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
• Handle guest interactions, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive experience.
• Schedule logistics with internal departments and external vendors, including group bookings and special arrangements.
• Monitor vehicle fleet maintenance, cleanliness, and safety, conducting regular inspections.
• Track transportation budgets, fuel, maintenance, and staffing costs.
• Analyze operational data to identify improvements and implement cost‑saving solutions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Transportation Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in transportation, logistics, or related supervisory role.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation.

Required skills
