Client Associate - Personal & Commercial Banking

About the role

RBC is hiring a Client Associate in its Personal & Commercial Banking platform in Dunmore Town, Bahamas. The role delivers the bank's client experience on the counter and floor, helping clients with day-to-day transactions and enquiries, advising on digital banking and, upon promotion, managing bulk cash operations as a Primary Cash Custodian. It is a regular, full-time, salaried position of 35 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Support Sales & Service professionals and RBC partners in delivering excellent customer service and credit and banking solutions.
• Advise clients on everyday banking, new account opening, term deposits and credit cards, and refer them to a Sales Professional or book an appointment.
• Manage client flow on the floor, welcome clients and guide them through RBC's multi-channel and digital solutions.
• Resolve client concerns at first point of contact, log complaints and follow the complaint handling process.
• Use RBC systems and follow policies and procedures to reduce cash differences, fraud and sundry losses.
• As Cash Custodian, handle cash ordering and redemption, balance end-of-day with other custodians and identify outages.

Required profile

• Five minimum passes (Grades I, II or III or A, B or C), with Math and English compulsory.
• Proven customer service and operations acumen in a client-focused, target-driven environment.
• Leadership, multi-tasking, problem-solving and teamwork skills, with good listening and rapport-building.
• Nice to have: Diploma or Associate Degree in Banking or a related field.
