About the role

The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, Bahamas, is looking for a Cook. The Cook prepares, cooks and presents high-quality dishes according to the standards in the Culinary Division Master Job Description Manual, with precision, efficiency and a commitment to excellence in the dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the whole Culinary Team on future planning, daily ordering and activities that affect guest satisfaction.
• Focus on taste and consistency when producing food or pastry, striving for perfection.
• Provide courteous and professional service at all times and keep the working area clean.
• Follow the Employee Handbook policies and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
• Attend training sessions as requested and report equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
• Keep workstations and refrigeration in line with the Culinary Division manual and uphold high sanitation standards in food and pastry outlets.

Required profile

• Formal culinary arts training or experience as an experienced Cook.
• 2-4 years of culinary experience.
• Flexible schedule, able to work weekends and holidays; legal ability to work in The Bahamas without sponsorship.
• Great communication skills, good organisational skills and a willingness to serve guests and peers.
• Ability to work well under pressure, set priorities and adapt to changing conditions.
