Director of Food & Beverage - Five-Star Caribbean Resort

About the role

A five-star resort in The Bahamas is looking for an experienced, hands-on Director of Food & Beverage to lead a large, multi-outlet F&B department. The role is operational and visible on the floor, not behind the desk. Frontier Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of the resort group.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all F&B operations across multiple restaurants, bars and service areas, keeping daily service smooth and efficient
• Maintain a strong presence on the floor, leading by example during busy service periods
• Drive guest satisfaction, service standards, revenue and departmental profitability
• Coach and develop a large, multicultural F&B team in a positive, accountable environment
• Work with the Executive Chef and senior leadership to align front and back of house
• Identify improvements in operational efficiency, guest experience and commercial performance
• Own departmental budgets, cost controls and financial performance

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years' experience at Director of Food & Beverage level, overseeing a large, multi-outlet operation
• Previous Caribbean resort experience strongly preferred, ideally in The Bahamas
• Proven background in five-star hotels or resorts managing high-volume F&B operations
• Hands-on leadership style, comfortable on the floor
• Strong commercial awareness, including budgeting, cost management and revenue optimisation
• Natural ability to motivate, mentor and build succession plans

• USD 90,000 base salary
• Housing allowance of USD 32,000
