About the role
Amentum is seeking a Documentation Specialist I to join the team on Andros Island, Bahamas, supporting the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission. The role involves handling customs documentation for cargo shipments and assisting with office and cargo duties.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare air and marine cargo declarations and related documents.
- Use Trade Tech, AMS, Click2Clear, and MAXIMO software for manifesting and tracking shipments.
- Perform periodic physical inventory counts and operate government cargo vehicles.
- Assist with warehouse operations, aircraft support, and classified material courier duties.
Required profile
- High school graduate or equivalent with at least 2 years of office experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lb, valid driver’s license and passport, and willingness to reside in a remote location.
- U.S. citizenship required to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Flexible schedule availability, including holidays and weekends.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat.
- Knowledge of Trade Tech, Automated Manifest System (AMS), Click2Clear, and MAXIMO.
