Field Representative - Merchant Data Collection
Mappa · New Providence
Job description
About the role
A temporary, full-time, on-site field project in the Bahamas and Cayman to collect merchant data. You visit small businesses on your island, speak briefly with the owner or manager and record accurate business information on a company-provided device. It is field research, not sales: nothing is sold and nothing is signed.
Key responsibilities
- Receive your route and zone each morning from the island coordinator and visit businesses one by one, including small shops, market stalls, restaurants, salons, corner stores and service providers.
- Complete one record per visit with business details, contact information, how the business operates today, a photo of the premises and the owner's interest level.
- Meet the target of 7 businesses visited per day.
- Ensure records are at least 95% complete and error-free, with a photo on every visit.
- Submit records the same day and send a daily report to the coordinator.
What we offer
- Pay of USD 17-20 per hour for 15 days, with a possible extension of 1 to 2 weeks.
- 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, on foot.
- Company device with a data plan, uniform and ID badge, printed materials to leave with businesses, and paid training at the start.
- Daily route and field support; successful reps may be shortlisted for future campaigns and coordinator roles.
