Housekeeper I - Andros Island, Bahamas

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Housekeeper I to join its team on Andros Island, Bahamas, supporting the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission. The position is reserved for Bahamian citizens only.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in all guest areas and consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Ensure housekeeping departmental standards are followed and respond promptly to guests' special requests for items such as extra towels.
• Maintain inventory of supplies in all linen rooms and stock areas, and keep the linen room stocked.
• Keep facilities and common areas clean and well maintained, including vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and stocking restrooms, and cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment.
• Collect and dispose of trash, notify managers of necessary repairs, and assist guests when needed.
• Properly clean upholstered furniture and perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bahamian citizenship; the position is open only to Bahamian citizens.
• 5+ years of job-related experience.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply instructions, publications and safety rules, and ability to write.
