Housekeeper I

About the role

Amentum is looking for a Housekeeper I to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission on Andros Island, Bahamas. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and providing friendly service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in all guest areas, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning restrooms.
• Respond to guest requests for items such as extra towels and maintain inventory of supplies.
• Maintain linen rooms, stock areas, and ensure upholstered furniture is properly cleaned.
• Collect and dispose of trash, clean spills, and notify managers of necessary repairs.
• Keep facilities and common areas clean and well‑maintained.

Required profile

• Must be a citizen of the Bahamas (position reserved for Bahamian citizens only).
• 5+ years of relevant housekeeping experience.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply instructions, publications, and safety rules, and to write.
