Island Demi Chef de Partie – Bahamas

About the role

Disney Cruise Line is seeking an Island Demi Chef de Partie to join the culinary team on its private island in the Bahamas. You will work in a dynamic, multicultural environment, supporting the Island Chef de Partie across cold pantry, hot kitchen, and crew pastry operations while ensuring high standards of food quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Island Chef de Partie with ordering, stock control, and inventory management.
• Execute opening and closing procedures for crew galley and production areas.
• Maintain compliance with sanitation laws, HACCP, Bahamian and USPH standards.
• Follow recipes, proper equipment usage, storage, and stock rotation.
• Support food quality standards during storage, production, and service.
• Suggest operational improvements and perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year formal culinary training from an accredited school.
• At least 2 years relevant kitchen experience or 3 completed cruise‑ship cook contracts.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced kitchen, manage cost control and minimize food waste.
• Physically fit with the endurance to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to follow safety and environmental guidelines.
