Manager – Deals and Consulting

About the role

PwC is hiring a Manager in its Deals and Consulting team in Nassau. People in deals provide strategic advice on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and restructuring, and help clients integrate acquisitions and realise the value of their investments. As a Manager you will lead valuations, financial analysis and post-merger integration strategies, while also taking responsibility for project planning, business development and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct valuations, financial analysis and develop strategies for post-merger integration
• Manage project planning, administration and economics, including budgeting, staffing, billing and time analysis
• Lead business development to identify and respond to opportunities for new and existing clients
• Manage compliance and risk activities, including independence and relationship checks, Client Entity System (CES) research, Authorisation for Services (AFS) and client acceptance procedures
• Prepare concise, accurate documents and ensure the quality of the team's work products
• Coach the team, coach others, resolve issues and simplify complex messages

Required profile

• Experience in a deals or consultancy environment or with a Big 4 firm, within the first 12 months at Manager grade
• Degree in Accounting, Finance Management, Economics, Business Management or a related field
• Internationally recognised accounting designation such as ACA, ACCA or CPA (preferred)
• Other professional qualifications (forensic, insolvency, CFA etc.) are an asset but not required
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, availability for work visa sponsorship and government clearance required
