Purchasing Warehouse Clerk

About the role

The Purchasing Warehouse Clerk supports the Purchasing Manager by processing purchase orders, managing vendor relationships, and monitoring inventory to ensure timely procurement of goods and services for The Abaco Club.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and promptly.
• Verify requisitions for proper approvals and accuracy.
• Communicate with vendors to confirm pricing, delivery schedules, and resolve issues.
• Maintain up‑to‑date vendor records and assist in sourcing new suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels and alert the Purchasing Manager when replenishment is needed.
• Keep accurate records of purchases, invoices, and payments, and generate regular reports.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a purchasing role.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using purchasing software.
