About the role

The Registered Nurse provides professional care for a group of patients, applying the nursing process, therapeutic environment, treatment modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients.
• Deliver patient care using the nursing process and appropriate treatment modalities.
• Maintain a therapeutic environment and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.

Required profile

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with a diploma or higher degree.
• At least one year of clinical experience, or recent graduate.
• Current registration with the Bahamas Nursing Council.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (required within 3 months of start date).
