Reservations Agent

About the role

The Reservations Agent is the friendly voice that helps clients book travel arrangements and ensures a smooth booking experience. The role attracts new customers and maintains existing ones, and is offered as a full-time position in Nassau.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls, emails and online inquiries, responding promptly and professionally to requests for reservations, information and assistance.
• Process reservations using specialized software and sources, and reconfirm reservations for the current day.
• Handle changes and cancellations.
• Know room locations, available room types and room rates.
• Resolve customer concerns, complaints and issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain records by updating customer profiles, managing reservation details and generating reports.
• Promote additional services and packages to enhance the customer experience and boost revenue.

Required profile

• Excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, able to handle several tasks and prioritize customer needs.
• Attention to detail when handling reservations and customer information.
• Adaptability and flexibility.
• Additional advantage: knowledge of travel destinations and attractions, and experience in the hospitality or tourism industry.

Required skills

• Proficiency in reservation systems; experience with industry-specific software is highly desirable.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
