Software Engineer - Python

About the role

The firm is a leading global proprietary crypto trading company seeking an experienced Python developer to join its team in The Bahamas. You will collaborate closely with traders to build innovative, scalable, and stable systems that enhance the firm’s crypto trading capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer innovative, scalable, and stable systems to support crypto trading activities.
• Become the expert on specific strategies and exchanges you are responsible for in the crypto markets.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to designing and implementing new strategies and trading tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline (or foreign equivalent).
• 3+ years of progressive experience developing software applications.
• Proficiency in Python programming (React and JavaScript a plus).
• Experience with smart‑contract development in Solidity or Rust is a plus.
• Familiarity with Web3, DeFi protocols, EVM, DAOs, or NFTs is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of performance optimisation and latency reduction.
• Ability to work closely with developers, traders, quants, and infrastructure teams.
