Watersports Leader for Exclusive Private Island

About the role

The client seeks an experienced Watersports Leader to manage daily watersports operations on an exclusive ultra‑high‑net‑worth private island. The role combines guest‑focused service with hands‑on equipment maintenance and safety oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate motorised and non‑motorised watersports activities, ensuring safe, smooth and professional operations.
• Deliver personalised watersports experiences tailored to each guest’s preferences and abilities.
• Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot boats, watercraft, safety gear and related equipment, performing basic repairs as needed.
• Maintain accurate equipment records, maintenance schedules, inventory and safety documentation.
• Collaborate with other island teams to ensure seamless overall guest experiences.

Required profile

• Proven senior experience in watersports leadership, marine recreation or a similar operational role.
• Strong practical knowledge of watersports equipment, boats, watercraft and safety procedures.
• Relevant watersports, boating, maritime or lifesaving certifications appropriate to the supervised activities.
• Excellent communication, guest‑focused attitude and ability to work independently.
• Previous experience in UHNW private islands, luxury resorts, yachts or high‑end leisure environments is a plus.

Required skills

• Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and basic repairs of boats and watersports equipment.
• Equipment maintenance and inspection expertise.
• Water safety and emergency procedure competence.

• Full expatriate package with a salary of USD 3,500‑4,000 per month.
