Experienced Tax Staff – Wealth & Asset Management (BBC Region)

About the role

Join EY's Financial Services Office (FSO) as an experienced tax professional focused on wealth and asset management. You will work with multi‑disciplinary teams serving clients across the Bahamas, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands, providing tax compliance and advisory services for hedge funds, private equity funds and mutual funds.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax compliance work for hedge funds, private equity funds and mutual funds.
• Provide advisory support on domestic federal, international, state and local tax matters.
• Collaborate with seniors through partners on complex client issues and tax strategy implementation.
• Identify technical tax issues early and raise questions for senior review.
• Manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or an advanced degree in tax or law.
• Minimum 12 months of relevant tax experience.
• CPA, Enrolled Agent or LLM certification preferred; non‑certified hires must obtain certification before promotion.
• Experience serving wealth and asset‑management clients is a plus.
