Finance Director

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, commercially‑focused Finance Director to lead the financial management of our insurance and investment businesses. Reporting to the CFO, you will provide accurate financial insight, ensure strong governance, and support strategic decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the day‑to‑day finance function, translating business objectives into financial plans and performance targets.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial modelling, monitoring performance against targets.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, ensuring timely and accurate consolidated statements and statutory disclosures.
• Direct insurance finance activities, analysing premiums, claims, reserves and underwriting performance.
• Supervise investment accounting, reporting portfolio performance and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
• Control treasury and cash management, monitoring liquidity, banking relationships and exposure to interest‑rate and FX risks.
• Support capital planning, solvency monitoring and balance‑sheet management in collaboration with the CFO.

Required profile

• Significant senior finance experience, preferably within insurance, investment or related financial services.
• Proven ability to lead large finance teams and drive financial discipline across business units.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in performance analysis, scenario modelling and risk identification.
• Excellent communication skills to work closely with CFO, CEO, actuarial, risk and business leadership teams.
