Food & Beverage Attendant – Half Moon Cay (Bahamas)

About the role

The Food & Beverage Attendant supports kitchen and dining operations at Half Moon Cay, a Carnival Corporation destination in the Bahamas. You will help maintain cleanliness, assist front‑of‑house activities, and ensure safe handling of food and supplies during busy service periods.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen interiors, exteriors, and surrounding dining areas, including deep cleaning of grills, hoods, tiles, equipment, and walkways.
• Support sanitation activities such as waste removal, equipment cleaning, pest prevention, and restocking of cleaning supplies.
• Assist with front‑of‑house maintenance and logistical support during peak service times.
• Receive, unpack, store, and rotate food and supply deliveries (FIFO) while reporting shortages or damaged items.
• Follow safety protocols, use personal protective equipment, report hazards, and assist with pest‑management treatments.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management and support other departments as needed.

Required profile

• Basic education and CPR/First Aid training.
• Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors when required.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive problem‑solver with strong time‑management and multitasking abilities.
• Willingness to work shift schedules at the destination.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with data entry and reporting tools.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
