Guest Services Attendant – Half Moon Cay (Bahamas)

About the role

The Guest Services Attendant ensures an exceptional guest experience on Half Moon Cay, a private island destination for Carnival cruise passengers. You will assist guests with beach equipment rentals, provide safety instructions, and help maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with rental of beach umbrellas, chairs, and aquatic equipment.
• Set up and break down beach equipment, toys, and gear each day.
• Provide clear safety instructions, ensure life‑vest use, and monitor rental time limits.
• Guide guests safely in and out of the water using designated launch lanes.
• Wash, sanitize, and inventory beach toys and equipment at the end of each shift.
• Report any damage, repairs, or inventory discrepancies to management.
• Assist with overall beach clean‑up and maintain a tidy environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or customer‑service education is a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in a customer‑service or hospitality role.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
