Vice President Finance – Insurance & Investments

About the role
The Vice President Finance leads financial planning, reporting, performance management and strategic finance across the Group’s insurance, investment and asset‑management operations. Reporting to the Group CFO, this senior leader partners with business‑unit CEOs, investment heads and risk teams to drive profitability, capital efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management for insurance and investment businesses.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, management accounts and detailed financial analysis.
- Provide FP&A and commercial finance insights to senior management and business leaders.
- Monitor revenue, profitability, margins, cash flow and return on capital across all units.
- Support insurance finance functions including premium income, claims, reserves, reinsurance and underwriting performance.
- Manage investment and asset‑management reporting, valuation, income and performance metrics.
- Drive group‑level capital planning, solvency, liquidity and balance‑sheet management.
- Ensure robust financial controls, accounting policies, governance frameworks and internal‑control procedures.
- Coordinate audit activities and meet regulatory and statutory reporting requirements.
- Provide financial modelling for M&A, strategic investments, new products and capital allocation.
- Identify cost‑optimization and operational‑efficiency opportunities.
- Develop dashboards, KPIs and performance analytics for business units.
- Lead finance transformation initiatives involving ERP, automation and data‑analytics.
- Coach and develop finance managers, controllers and other finance professionals.
Required profile
- 12–18+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership roles.
- Proven experience in insurance, investment or asset‑management finance.
- Strong track record of financial planning, reporting and performance management.
- Demonstrated ability to work with C‑level executives and drive strategic financial decisions.
- Experience overseeing capital planning, solvency and liquidity management.
