Head of Dealing

About the role

We are a leading global trading platform seeking a Head of Dealing to lead our regional dealing desk. The role oversees day‑to‑day operations, ensures efficient execution across asset classes, and aligns local practices with group strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the dealing desk, supervising execution quality, market coverage and liquidity management.
• Monitor market conditions, pricing and risk limits, and implement controls and escalation procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and internal governance, acting as primary contact for regulators and auditors.
• Coordinate incident management, post‑event analysis and regulatory reporting.
• Mentor and develop the local dealing team while collaborating with Risk, Compliance, Finance and Technology functions.
• Serve as liaison between the Bahamas entity and group‑level stakeholders, contributing to dealing strategy, system enhancements and scalability.
• Identify opportunities to improve execution quality, operational efficiency and support business growth initiatives.

Required profile

• 6‑8+ years of experience in dealing, trading or market operations within a regulated financial services environment, preferably CFD/FX or multi‑asset brokerage.
• Proven track record of leading a dealing desk or trading team.
• Strong understanding of market making, liquidity management and execution oversight.
• Experience operating under an offshore regulatory framework (e.g., Bahamas) and interacting with regulators and auditors.
• Demonstrated ownership of risk management within defined limits.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, international, multi‑entity organization.
