Stock Room Associate – High Luxury Fashion Retail

About the role

The Stock Room Associate plays a vital part in a high‑luxury fashion retail environment, ensuring that inventory flows smoothly from the back‑room to the sales floor. You will keep the stockroom organized, support the sales team, and help customers find the products they need.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments accurately.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and update records using POS or inventory management software.
• Maintain clean, organized stockroom and log all stock movements.
• Restock the sales floor, assist sales associates, and provide product knowledge.
• Assist customers in locating items and respond to availability queries.
• Support special events, deliveries, and ensure compliance with safety and grooming standards.

Required profile

• Physical ability to lift 30‑50 lb boxes and stand for long periods.
• Strong organizational attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous retail or stockroom experience preferred but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Experience using POS software.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record‑keeping.
