Slotting Coordinator

About the role

The Slotting Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and coordinating all slotting processes in a cost‑efficient manner, ensuring products are placed correctly based on velocity, temperature, size, weight and other specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Determine warehouse placement of incoming products according to size, quantity, weight and temperature requirements.
• Collaborate with Merchandising and Receiving to flag Ti‑Hi changes and maintain accurate system parameters.
• Analyze slotting reports, provide feedback on operational improvements and follow up with operations leaders.
• Work with Inventory Control and Warehouse Operations to identify gaps, resolve issues and rearrange products for optimal space utilization.
• Participate in the Slotting Committee, gather selector feedback and escalate opportunities.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in warehouse or distribution services.
• Ability to lift 70‑100 lb cases and work flexible shift rotations.
• Strong problem‑solving, verbal and written communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Inventory control techniques and procedures.
• Sysco Warehouse Management System (SWMS), Sysco Uniform System (SUS) and Radio Frequency (RF) Admin.
• Intermediate PC skills: Microsoft Word, Access, Excel and Business Objects.
