Cycle Counter

About the role

The Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and supporting product recall processes within a warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts of the warehouse at least four times a year, covering all pick and reserve slots.
• Conduct quality checks on slow‑moving, obsolete, and sensitive items and manage recoup functions.
• Research root causes of weight variances, receiving/put‑away issues, and damaged product.
• Verify FIFO rotation, reserve pallet counts, and proper execution of put‑away and transfer processes.
• Initiate and document product transfers between cooler and freezer zones.
• Review management reports to identify inventory shrink causes.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED (associate degree preferred).
• At least one year of credit or collections experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret business documents and regulations.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with attention to grammar and spelling.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience using AS400 and SWMS systems.
• 10‑key numeric entry and general office equipment operation.
