Accounts Associate II – Corporate Finance

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Associate II to join our Joint Commission International‑accredited hospital system in New Providence, The Bahamas. The role focuses on corporate finance duties, including daily cash reconciliations, cashier transaction reviews, and supporting month‑end close.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily cash reconciliation and verify cashier worksheets, posting to sub‑ledger and general ledger.
• Confirm deposits against the deposit register and bank statements.
• Reconcile and investigate cashier differences, reporting variances to the Director and Manager of Patient Registration.
• Notify the Manager within 24 hours of any missing deposits or discrepancies.
• Prepare and reconcile credit‑card payment records monthly.
• Produce monthly bank reconciliation by the 25th of the following month for manager review.
• Generate daily treasury reports for the CFO by 10 am each day.
• Assist in automating the bank reconciliation process.
• Maintain banking relationships and coordinate follow‑ups with financial institutions.
• Prepare journal entries for suspense accounts, bank charges, and credit‑card discounts.
• Support month‑end close and financial reporting.
• Provide ad‑hoc reports to CFO, SVP, or VP of Corporate Finance as requested.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar accounting position.
• Exposure to other accounting functions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
