Audit Experienced Staff – Financial Services Office (Bahamas)

About the role

Join EY's Financial Services Office (FSO) as an Audit Experienced Staff member supporting the Wealth & Asset Management (WAM) segment in the Bahamas. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver assurance services to clients in asset management, private equity, banking, capital markets, and insurance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures on financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Develop client‑focused audit strategies and execute them across a portfolio of projects.
• Identify potential risks, propose improvements to audit processes, and contribute to business development initiatives.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies to provide valuable insights to clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related business discipline.
• Minimum nine months of audit experience in a public accounting firm.
• Progress towards or possession of an internationally recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g., US CPA, Canadian CPA).

Required skills

• Working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Working knowledge of IFRS.
• Experience performing audit procedures.
