Business Travel & Catering Sales Manager

About the role

The Business Travel & Catering Sales Manager will lead the growth of corporate and wedding business for SLS Baha Mar. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the role combines strategic relationship building with full‑cycle sales execution across rooms, meetings, catering and events.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow local corporate accounts, new business prospects and destination wedding opportunities.
• Cultivate relationships with corporate decision‑makers, travel managers, meeting planners, luxury travel advisors and prospective couples.
• Generate revenue across guestrooms, meetings, catering, corporate events, weddings and other hotel experiences.
• Lead opportunities through prospecting, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, contracting and turnover.
• Partner with Revenue Management to align sales efforts with pricing strategy and inventory availability.
• Deliver compelling virtual and in‑person property tours, site inspections and presentations.
• Maintain a robust pipeline, monitor market trends and ensure accurate documentation in sales systems.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in hospitality sales, business development or catering sales, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field preferred.
• Proven ability to generate new business, cultivate lasting client relationships and achieve revenue targets.
• Experience working with corporate accounts, luxury travel advisors or destination wedding planners is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience using Opera PMS.
• Familiarity with Delphi and CRM platforms.
