The Cashier & Sales Associate is the front‑line ambassador of the store, responsible for delivering friendly service, processing transactions, and supporting sales goals. This dual‑role position thrives in a fast‑paced retail environment and requires attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products.
• Accurately process sales transactions using POS systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and checkout area.
• Restock merchandise, monitor inventory levels, and ensure product availability.
• Handle customer inquiries, returns, and complaints professionally.
• Promote store products and upsell when appropriate.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets.
• Follow cash‑handling and loss‑prevention procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail or customer‑service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math and computer proficiency.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible for weekend/holiday shifts.
• Positive, team‑oriented attitude.
