Director of Food & Beverage (Luxury Resort)

About the role

We are seeking an accomplished Director of Food & Beverage to lead the culinary and beverage operations of a prestigious luxury hotel and resort in the Caribbean. This full‑time, international position offers relocation support and a housing allowance, providing an idyllic expat‑friendly environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the culinary and F&B direction across multiple luxury resort outlets, ensuring consistently exceptional standards.
• Develop and evolve menus that reflect the property’s luxury positioning, destination, brand identity and the latest international culinary trends.
• Drive culinary innovation, from new concepts and ingredients to contemporary techniques, presentation and dining experiences.
• Oversee menu tastings, product development and the successful rollout of new concepts across the resort.
• Maintain high standards of execution while controlling food cost and meeting commercial targets.
• Analyse guest feedback, menu performance and industry trends to continuously enhance the resort’s F&B offering.
• Collaborate with the General Manager, Executive Chefs, Operations, Purchasing, Marketing and Training teams to deliver a cohesive luxury dining experience.
• Lead, inspire and develop culinary and F&B teams, fostering a culture of creativity, excellence and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Extensive experience within luxury hotels, resorts or high‑end hospitality environments.
• Strong senior‑level background in Food & Beverage operations, with deep knowledge of food, beverage and wine.
• Proven ability to elevate culinary standards and introduce innovative, trend‑led concepts.
• Experience with international luxury brands and, preferably, island or Caribbean destinations.
• Hands‑on, guest‑focused mindset with a passion for delivering memorable experiences.
