Hotel Storekeeper – Celebration Key, Bahamas

About the role

The Hotel Storekeeper is responsible for managing and maintaining the general stores, including consumables, chemicals, equipment, and uniforms at Celebration Key, a Carnival Corporation destination in the Bahamas. The role ensures inventory items are received, stored, tracked, and distributed efficiently to meet operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Place requests for inventory items, assist with purchasing, and prepare inventory reports.
• Maintain organized storage areas, label sections, and issue items to departments.
• Audit incoming materials, verify paperwork and counts, and support unloading and sorting.
• Confirm deliveries against invoices, review weekly inventory lists, and ensure compliance with safety and handling standards.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED; minimum 2 years experience in a technical environment in a hotel or related industry.
• Fluent in conversational English with good written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and work outdoors or shift schedules.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data‑entry/reporting tools.
• Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and perform audits.
