About the role

The Housekeeping Attendant ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff at Half Moon Cay, a Carnival Corporation destination in the Bahamas. This on‑site position involves routine cleaning, sanitisation, and guest interaction to support a high‑standard hospitality experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of public spaces, corridors, lounges, restrooms, and outdoor areas.
• Perform routine and deep cleaning, including floor care, surface sanitisation, and furniture upkeep.
• Collect and dispose of waste and recyclables according to company and environmental guidelines.
• Replenish sanitary stations with tissues, hand towels, soap, and other supplies.
• Handle, label, and store cleaning chemicals safely; operate cleaning machinery and equipment.
• Assist with stateroom cleaning as part of cross‑training.
• Identify and report maintenance, safety, or service issues to management.
