Inventory Manager – High Luxury Fashion Retail

About the role

Hillside Bahamas is looking for an Inventory Manager to own stock across the retail floor, stockrooms and warehouse. You will ensure every piece of merchandise is counted, coded and accounted for.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records for receiving, transfers, sales, returns and damages.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories, then reconcile variances and produce reports.
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing lists and invoices before entering them into the system.
• Generate replenishment signals by identifying fast‑moving, slow‑moving items and monitoring reorder points.
• Organize warehouse and stockroom spaces, securing high‑value merchandise and optimizing layout.
• Supervise, train and develop inventory, stockroom and warehouse staff.

Required profile

• 3–5 years in inventory management, stock control or warehouse operations, preferably in retail.
• Hands‑on experience with inventory or POS systems.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with numbers and variance analysis.
• Supervisory experience.
• Discipline to chase down discrepancies rather than write them off.
